Ordering and Payment

Orders may be placed via our secure website or by letter, telephone, fax and email. All transactions are in £ sterling. When placing an order via the Website, you will receive an email confirming we have received your order.

 

All books are usually available for immediate despatch. However, on the rare occasion when a book is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you by e-mail and offer you an estimated despatch date and the option of cancelling your order.

 

Goods are usually despatched on the same day the order is received (for orders received on a working day i.e. Monday to Friday).  However, during exceptionally busy times it may be necessary to despatch goods the day following receipt of an order.  Depending on weight, orders are sent either by Royal Mail or by courier and generally take a maximum of 3-5 working days to deliver.  However, during busy seasonal periods, post via the Royal Mail may sometimes be subject to delays.

 

All overseas orders are despatched by Royal Mail surface post. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for delivery to Europe, from 4 to 6 weeks surface mail for the US and from 8 weeks surface mail for Australia and other non EU countries. Occasionally, this process can be delayed by Royal Mail and is often beyond our control. An airmail and courier service with tracking is also available at an additional cost, please contact us at gilly@quillerbooks.com for prices.

UK Mainland For books below the value of £10.00 please add £2.00. For books above the value of £10.00 please add £3.50 For each additional book please add 50p

Surface Overseas Postage and package is 20% of the total order value. Airmail and courier prices on request.
